Though many of our contract research activity where cost is covered by the client, commercial IP rights belongs to the client, BLPL is also involved with various in-house research where it generates IP specially in the field of process patent, technology development. No of patents have been filed by BLPL scientists based on their work in these areas. Moreover, BLPL research center also is keen to make sure that other IP is not violated by our scientists while developing processes for new chemical entities.

The IP department at BLPL is responsible in ensuring that the Company will not infringe any third party’s rights and protecting Company’s intellectual property against any unauthorized use by third party. BLPL IP policy states that: “All products developed or sold by the Company would not willfully infringe third-party patent rights”.
